It's hard to believe but it has officially been 5 years since we opened our little food truck in our hometown of Fort Worth, TX!!! We thought we should celebrate with a bang! March 7th, at our River District location (5333 White Settlement Road) we will be throwing a huge party from 5pm til close! Delicious BBQ, ice cold beer, craft cocktails, and live music from one of our favorites, Jon Stork, followed by our good friend and local legend, Grady Spencer & the Work!!! Our full service bar has 24 taps, including Tito's and TX Whiskey on tap!, frozen drinks, craft cocktails, plus we will have multiple drink stations in the Backyard with ice cold beer and more! We will have two ticket options: General Admission and a very limited amount of VIP tickets. VIP tickets give you access to guaranteed seats near the stage, VIP only bar, specialty drinks and more!!! The party will get kicked off by a great live music set from Jon Stork in our Backyard, followed by Grady Spencer & the Work!!! Tickets are on sale now! $25 for General Admission $50 for VIP (limited amount available) Parking will be extremely limited so please consider a ride share service for this event (uber, lyft, etc.) Come celebrate 5 incredible years of Farm to Smoker craft barbecue with your friends at Heim Barbecue!!! Hot BBQ, ice cold beer, and live music from two incredible musicians, let's party!!!!!!!!!!!

Brisket Lab with Travis Heim

Holy cow!!! We had so much fun at our first two BBQ classes in January we've decided to try it again! Travis Heim with Heim Barbecue is hosting a BBQ cooking class at the brand new Heim Barbecue on the River location in West Fort Worth!!! This class will have limited seating to allow for a more hands on experience for all guests. Travis will discuss: Brisket, Brisket, and more Brisket! We'll be discussing nothing but brisket this class: brisket types, grades, rubs, techniques, how to properly trim and slice a brisket, and more! Followed by a blind tasting and grading of the different briskets sampled which will include: Certified Angus Beef Prime grade 44 farms Choice grade CAB Prime 30 day dry aged Wagyu Followed by Q & A period and smokehouse tour Guests will receive BBQ samples of meats discussed, official Heim BBQ dry rubs, and liquor, beer, wine, etc. will be available for purchase.
